Fitment & Compatibility

OEM number: 17211-ZL8-023 (Honda genuine, but this is an aftermarket 5-pack). Check your engine’s stamped model number (e.g., GCV160) on the valve cover or blower housing—do not rely on mower deck size alone.

Fits: Honda GC160, GCV160, GC190, GCV190 engines. Also compatible with many Honda HRR216, HRX217, HR215, and HRS216 mowers using those engines. Does not fit GCV135, GCV200, or GX series engines (different filter shape).

Measurements: Approximately 3.5” x 2.5” x 0.75” (rectangular foam). Compare to your existing filter—if it’s a paper element or a different foam shape, this won’t work.

Note: This is a dry foam filter; some Honda engines use an oiled foam pre-filter. If your mower’s manual calls for oiling, you’ll need to apply a light coat of foam filter oil (not included).
