This is a set of two long, narrow-neck funnels designed for spill-free filling of automotive transmission fluid, engine oil, kerosene, diesel, fuel, and water. Itβs for use on cars, motorcycles, lawn mowers, generators, and other small engines where tight access makes standard funnels useless.
Fitment & Compatibility
- Check your fill port diameter β The thin nose is about 6β8 mm wide, so it fits most transmission dipstick tubes and small engine oil fill holes (e.g., Honda, Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki). Measure your fill opening before buying.
- Not for large openings β If your mower has a wide oil fill cap (1 inch+), a standard funnel works better. This is for tight, recessed ports.
- Universal fit β No brand-specific mounting. Works on any machine with a narrow, straight or slightly angled fill tube. Does not include adapters for threaded or push-lock caps.
- Material β Plastic (polypropylene), so avoid use with very hot or aggressive solvents (e.g., pure acetone, brake cleaner) that may degrade it.
Key Things to Know
- Spill-free design works β The long neck reaches deep into transmission or engine fill tubes, letting you pour without overflow. Good for mowers with side-mounted dipstick tubes.
- No installation required β Just rinse before first use. No moving parts.
- Two sizes included β One slightly longer than the other. Use the longer one for hard-to-reach transmission ports; the shorter for oil changes.
- Pour slowly β The narrow tip restricts flow. Fast pouring can cause backup and spills. Tilt the funnel slightly to vent air.
Should You Buy It
Buy this if you have a lawn mower, car, or motorcycle with a tight, recessed fill tube (like most modern transmission dipstick ports or small engine oil caps). Itβs cheap, simple, and works well for occasional use. Skip it if you only need to fill wide-open oil caps or plan to use it with hot oil frequently (plastic may soften over time).
