What It Is

This is a set of 8 pre-wound replacement spools (0.08-inch diameter, 20 feet each) for Craftsman CMCST910-series string trimmers, designed to reload trimmer line without hand-winding a spool.

Fitment & Compatibility

Must verify your trimmer model: fits Craftsman CMCST910, CMCST910B, CMCST910D, CMCST910P, and CMEST925. It is not compatible with older Craftsman gas trimmers or most 0.065-inch/0.095-inch line systems. The spool uses a push-button bump feed—check that your trimmer head has a center post and spring-loaded bump knob. OEM part numbers CMZST0803 and CMZST080 are direct replacements. Measure your existing spool’s width and center hole diameter; these spools are 1.4 inches wide with a 0.4-inch center hole.

Key Things to Know

  • Line is thin (0.08") – best for light weeds and grass trimming; will snap quickly on thick brush or woody stems.
  • Pre-wound saves time – no winding needed, but spools may have slightly less line than OEM (some users report 18-19 ft instead of 20).
  • Install tip – push spool firmly onto center post until it clicks; if bump feed doesn’t advance, check that line isn’t pinched under the spool rim.
  • Not universal – will not fit standard 2-hole or SpeedFeed heads; only for the bump-feed head on listed models.

Should You Buy It

Buy these if you own a Craftsman CMCST910-series trimmer and want a quick, no-mess reload for light-duty yard work. Skip them if you need thicker line for heavy weeds or if your trimmer uses a different feed system—you’ll be disappointed by the thin line and limited fit.
