What It Is

This is a complete tune-up kit for the 60-inch Raptor SD zero-turn mower equipped with the Kawasaki FR730V engine. It includes three 793794 blades, an air filter, oil filter, spark plug, and fuel stabilizer—everything needed for a single-season service.

Fitment & Compatibility

  • Deck size: 60 inches only. Will not fit 52-inch or 54-inch decks.
  • Mower models: Fits all Hustler Raptor SD models with a 60-inch deck and the FR730V engine. Not compatible with the standard Raptor (non-SD) or Raptor SD with the Kohler engine.
  • Blade part numbers: Uses OEM Hustler blade 793794 (3/8" center hole, 20.5" long, 2.5" wide). Verify your current blade has these same measurements.
  • Filter/spark plug: Air filter (OEM 5829305), oil filter (OEM 49065-0723), spark plug (NGK BPR6ES). Cross-check these numbers against your current parts.
  • Aftermarket note: This is a third-party kit, not OEM Hustler. The blades are typically stamped steel—fine for residential use but may dull faster than OEM in heavy or rocky conditions.

Key Things to Know

  • Installation difficulty: Moderate. Requires basic tools (socket wrench, blade removal tool, oil drain pan). Expect 1–2 hours for complete tune-up.
  • Blade orientation: The 793794 blades are not universal—they have a specific lift and offset. Install with the sharp edge leading and the wing pointing up toward the deck. Reversing them will kill cut quality.
  • Oil filter change: The FR730V filter is mounted low and can be hard to reach without a filter wrench. Plan for a mess—have rags and a drain pan ready.
  • Not for commercial use: The blades are thinner than OEM (approx. 0.1875" vs 0.25") and may bend on hidden obstacles. For heavy-duty mowing, buy OEM blades separately.

Should You Buy It

Buy this kit if you own a 60-inch Raptor SD with the FR730V engine and want a convenient, cost-effective way to do a full season tune-up in one order. It’s ideal for residential users who mow weekly and don’t hit rocks or roots. Skip it if you need commercial-grade durability or have a different deck size/engine combo—then buy individual OEM parts.
