This is a set of two 11x4.00-5 flat-free (puncture-proof) tire and wheel assemblies, designed as a direct replacement for Hustler zero-turn mowers using OEM part numbers 605113 and 607009. They eliminate flat tires and are ideal for commercial or heavy residential use on turf, gravel, and paved surfaces.
Fitment & Compatibility
Before buying, verify three things:
- Model/Part Number: Confirmed fit for Hustler models using 605113 (rear wheel) or 607009 (front wheel). Check your mower’s manual or existing wheel stamp for these numbers.
- Wheel Size: 11x4.00-5 tire (11" tall, 4" wide) fits a 5" rim. Measure your old tire’s sidewall markings—must match exactly.
- Bolt Pattern & Hub: These are universal 4-bolt wheels with a 4.0" center hole and 4.0" bolt circle (3.5" spacing). Verify your spindle has a 5/8" or 3/4" axle bore; these typically fit 5/8" axles. If your Hustler uses a different pattern (e.g., 3.5" bolt circle), these won’t fit.
Not compatible with all Hustler models—only those using 605113/607009. Aftermarket, not OEM.
Key Things to Know
- No Maintenance: Flat-free means zero air pressure—no punctures, no leaks. Heavier than pneumatic tires (approx. 8 lbs each), but you never pump or patch.
- Ride Quality: Stiffer than air-filled tires. On rough terrain, you’ll feel bumps more; fine for mowing but not for high-speed transport on uneven ground.
- Installation: Direct bolt-on—no adapters needed. Use a torque wrench (45-55 ft-lbs) to avoid stripping lug nuts. May need to re-torque after first use.
- Durability: Solid polyurethane core with a rubber tread. Expect 2-3 years of heavy commercial use before tread wear; won’t rot or dry rot like rubber.
Should You Buy It
Buy if you’re tired of fixing flats on a Hustler zero-turn used on mixed surfaces, and you want a set-and-forget solution. Skip if you need a cushioned ride for a lightweight residential mower or if your Hustler uses a different bolt pattern—check those numbers first.
