What It Is

This is a 3-pack of aftermarket spindle assemblies designed to replace the OEM Toro 110-6866 and 117-1192 spindles on 42-inch and 50-inch Timecutter and Z5000-series zero-turn mowers. Spindles mount the blade and pulley, enabling the blade to spin freely; a failed spindle causes vibration, uneven cut, or blade lockup.

Fitment & Compatibility

Before buying, confirm your deck size and model. This ILONPA pack fits Toro Timecutter models Z4200, Z4202, Z4220, Z4235, Z5000, Z5020, Z5030, Z5035, Z5040, Z5060, and ZX5000—only with 42-inch or 50-inch decks. It also works on the Z Master Z5000 series with those same decks. Measure your spindle housing bolt pattern: OEM spec is 3.75 inches center-to-center (two-bolt pattern). Check your existing spindle part number—should be 110-6866 or 117-1192. If your mower uses a different spindle (e.g., 108-3762), this kit won’t fit.

Key Things to Know

  • Quality vs. OEM: These are aftermarket; users report good durability for residential/semi-commercial use, but they may not match OEM longevity under heavy commercial duty.
  • Installation: Moderate difficulty—requires removing the blade, pulley, and belt. You’ll need a socket set, torque wrench (blade bolt torque: 70–90 ft-lbs), and possibly a puller for stuck pulleys.
  • Common gotcha: The included bearings are pre-greased, but adding a dab of grease during install is recommended. Do not overtighten the spindle nut—strip risk is real.
  • Pack contents: Three complete assemblies with bearings, shaft, and housing. No blades or pulleys included—reuse your existing ones if in good shape.

Should You Buy It

If you have a Toro Timecutter or Z5000 with a 42" or 50" deck and need to replace one or more failing spindles, this 3-pack is a cost-effective fix for residential use. It’s not for heavy commercial fleets, but for typical lawn care, the price and user feedback make it a solid choice.
