The Hoss Disk Harrow Attachment is a tow-behind implement designed to break up soil, till garden beds, or smooth dirt patches. It’s intended for use with lawn tractors, garden tractors, or UTVs for light-to-medium ground prep.

Fitment & Compatibility

Before buying, check your machine’s hitch type and capacity:

• Hitch type: Requires a standard 1-7/8-inch trailer ball hitch or a clevis/pin hitch (verify which is included or needed).
• Towing capacity: Your tractor or UTV must be rated to tow at least 200 lbs (attachment weight plus soil resistance).
• Deck clearance: Ensure your mower deck doesn’t interfere with the harrow’s frame when turning or backing up—measure from hitch point to ground and rear of deck.
• Universal fit: No brand-specific mount; works with most lawn/garden tractors (John Deere, Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, etc.) that have a rear hitch. Not for zero-turn mowers or push mowers.
• Aftermarket: It’s a standalone attachment, not an OEM replacement part—no cross-reference needed.

• Weight & depth: At ~50 lbs, it won’t penetrate hard clay or rocky soil without added weight (e.g., cinder blocks on the frame). Best for loose, tilled, or sandy ground.
• Transport position: The disks don’t lock up—they’ll drag if not lifted. You’ll need a tractor with a 3-point hitch or a lift kit to raise it for travel.
• Durability: Welds and paint are decent for the price, but bolts may loosen over time—use thread locker on assembly.
