What It Is

This is a replacement spout for Fuelworx fuel cans, designed for pouring gas or diesel. It’s a standalone spout (no can included) and works with any Fuelworx can that uses the same threaded neck. CARB-compliant for use in California.

Fitment & Compatibility

  • Exact fit: Fuelworx fuel cans only. Not compatible with WORX brand lawn mowers or other power equipment—WORX here is the seller, not the mower brand.
  • Check your can’s neck: This spout fits Fuelworx cans with a 2-inch threaded opening. Measure the outer diameter of your can’s filler neck; if it’s roughly 2 inches (51 mm), it should work.
  • Not universal: Will not fit standard gas cans from brands like No-Spill, SureCan, or VP Racing. If you don’t own a Fuelworx can, this spout won’t work.
  • Fuel type: Works with gasoline and diesel. Not for kerosene or mixed fuels with ethanol above E10.

Key Things to Know

  • Made in USA: Claimed as domestically manufactured, but verify on the packaging—some users report inconsistent labeling.
  • CARB compliant: Includes a child-resistant lock and auto-close valve. Flow rate is slower than non-CARB spouts, which can be annoying for larger mower tanks.
  • Installation: Simple screw-on—no tools needed. Ensure the gasket is seated properly to avoid leaks. Takes 30 seconds.
  • Common gotcha: The spout’s plastic can crack if overtightened. Hand-tighten only; do not use pliers or a wrench.

Should You Buy It

Buy this if you already own a Fuelworx fuel can and need a replacement spout for gas or diesel. Skip it if you own a different brand can or want a fast-pour spout—this is CARB-restricted and slow. At $16.85, it’s a fair price for a direct replacement, but not for a universal upgrade.
