This head is clockwise only—it will not work on counterclockwise trimmers (common on some gas models). No adapter or conversion kit needed; it mounts directly to the existing shaft. The head accepts 0.080” or 0.095” trimmer line (not included). If you have a different EGO model (e.g., ST1200 or ST1300 series), this head is incompatible without a shaft adapter. Measure your current head’s diameter: the AH1530 is roughly 5.5” wide.
