What It Is

This is a 3-pack of high-lift bagging blades designed for 50-inch Cub Cadet, MTD, and Troy-Bilt lawn tractors and zero-turn mowers. The aggressive lift profile pulls grass clippings upward for superior collection in bagging systems, making it ideal for users who prioritize clean bagging over mulching or side-discharge performance.

Fitment & Compatibility

Before buying, confirm your mower deck measures exactly 50 inches (not 46" or 54"). These blades replace OEM part numbers 742-05094 and 742P05094. They fit Cub Cadet Enduro XT1-LT50, Ultima ZT1-50, ZT2-50, ZTS2-50, and many MTD/Troy-Bilt models with 50" fabricated or stamped decks. Measure your existing blade length (should be ~20.5 inches), center hole diameter (typically 1" or 7/8"), and spindle pattern (usually 5-point star). If your deck uses a different spindle mount or blade length, these won’t work. Always remove a blade and compare dimensions before installing.

Key Things to Know

  • High lift = higher power draw. These blades create more drag than standard or mulching blades. If your engine bogs in thick grass, you may need to raise deck height or mow more slowly.
  • Install with sharp edge facing the deck. The lift wing must point upward toward the deck shell. Reversing them ruins performance and can cause vibration.
  • Torque to spec. Tighten blade bolts to 70-90 ft-lbs (check your manual). Under-torquing can cause blade detachment; over-torquing may strip spindle threads.
  • Not for mulching. The high-lift design throws clippings into the bagger, not back into the cut. If you want fine mulching, look for a dedicated mulching blade.

Should You Buy It

Buy this set if you own a 50" Cub Cadet/MTD/Troy-Bilt mower, bag your clippings, and want an affordable OEM-replacement option with good bagging lift. Skip it if you primarily mulch or side-discharge, or if your deck isn’t exactly 50 inches—fitment is precise.
