This 3-pack includes high-lift Toro mower blades (115-5059-03) and three matching blade bolts (532193003), designed for 50-inch cutting decks on Timecutter and Titan zero-turn mowers. High-lift blades create stronger vacuum for improved grass clipping discharge and bagging performance.
Fitment & Compatibility
Before buying, confirm your mower has a 50-inch deck and uses OEM blade part numbers 110-6837-03, 112-9759-03, or 79016P. These blades directly replace those and fit models including Toro Timecutter SS5000, MX5060, MX5000, MX5050, and Titan 50-inch models. Measure your existing blade: this blade is 20.5 inches long, 2.5 inches wide, with a center hole diameter of 5/8 inch and a 1-inch diameter center hub. The included bolt has 5/16-24 thread. Verify your spindle bolt pattern matches—these use a 5-point star center hole, not a standard hex or round hole. Not compatible with 42-inch, 54-inch, or 60-inch decks.
Key Things to Know
- Installation difficulty: Moderate. Requires a torque wrench to tighten bolts to 70-90 ft-lbs. Over-tightening can strip the spindle threads.
- Sharpening: High-lift blades are harder to sharpen than standard blades due to their curved shape. Consider replacing rather than resharpening.
- Noise & power draw: The high-lift design increases engine load and noise compared to low-lift blades. Your mower must have sufficient horsepower (typically 22+ HP) to avoid bogging down in thick grass.
- Bolt included: The 532193003 bolts are Toro OEM quality but are single-use. Replace them each time you swap blades to prevent fatigue failure.
Should You Buy It
If you own a Toro Timecutter or Titan with a 50-inch deck and want maximum bagging performance or cleaner discharge in tall grass, this kit is a solid value. It’s less suitable for mulching or for mowers with smaller engines that may struggle with the extra lift. For standard cutting on well-maintained lawns, lower-lift blades may be quieter and more fuel-efficient.
