This is a 1/2" x 112" replacement deck belt (OEM part 110-6871) for select Toro TimeCutter zero-turn mowers. It drives the mower blades from the engine pulley to the spindle pulleys on 42" and 44" cutting decks.
Fitment & Compatibility
Before buying, confirm your mower’s model number (not just the series). This belt fits Toro TimeCutter models: Z4200 (74360), Z4235, Z4202, Z4220, 74380, 74381, 74363, 74365, 74366. It is not compatible with 50" or 54" decks, or non-TimeCutter Toro models. Measure your old belt length (end-to-end, flat) – it must be exactly 112". The width is 1/2" (A-section). This is an OEM Toro belt; aftermarket equivalents may vary slightly in tension and durability.
Key Things to Know
- Quality: OEM Toro belt with fiber-reinforced rubber, resists stretching and heat better than most generics.
- Installation difficulty: Moderate. You’ll need to remove the deck or at least the belt guard and tensioner pulley. A 3/8" ratchet and belt routing diagram (check your manual or online) are essential.
- Common gotcha: The belt must be routed under the tensioner pulley and over the spindle pulleys. Reversing this causes slipping or premature wear.
- Durability: Expect 1–3 seasons of normal residential use. Replace if you see cracking, fraying, or a 1/4" or more of slack at the tensioner.
Should You Buy It
Yes, if you own one of the listed TimeCutter models and your current belt is worn or broken. At $12.99, this OEM belt is a solid value—better fit and longevity than most aftermarket options. Avoid it if you have a different deck size or model series.
